My Personal Projects

Student Cook Book

It was my first day in another country, and I felt completely lost and out of my depths. Everything was unfamiliar and overwhelming, and I could not help but feel loneliness and homesickness. To make matters worse, I was starving but had no idea what to eat. As I wandered through the streets, searching for a restaurant or market that looked even remotely familiar, I could not help but think there had to be a better way to navigate this new culinary landscape. Moreover, inspiration struck – what if an app could suggest one recipe per day based on the ingredients available in my updated surroundings? Excited by the idea, I immediately worked on my upcoming project. With my limited programming skills, I designed and developed the recipe app. I spent hours pouring over the code and perfecting the user experience.

Vancouver Walker

Being new to a big city like Vancouver can be scary, so I created an app to help me find new places in town or new trails to hike. I used Flutter, a mobile development framework, to create my app. Flutter gave me the flexibility to create a great user interface and experience and access native features like GPS and maps.
